After leaving the Desert, I found myself at the edge of a mountain, staring into a grey pool. Out of it emerged two copper hands with a bowl, full to the brim, of promises [ x ]. Some broken, others remained in tact. I pinched one of them out of curiosity and placed it on my tongue. Then with both hands cupped, I took as much water as I could and I raised my hands high! "Water! Water!" I howled into the silent blue as the water began to drip down my wrist, past my elbows then down my sides. I choked. I desperately halved my hands hoping water would wash down the broken promise lodged in my throat. "Water! Water!" I screeched this time as it all phased through and through my hands. My throat achingly contracted causing the capsule to melt down into my stomach. I fell into the grey pool, clasping my neck, and everything went pitch black. I'm back in the Desert. There is no water anywhere. Just a mirage and a bowl full of broken promises. "Water! Water!" I cried. I'm ready for water.
